Accessibility
Breathing guidance should remain usable in different ways.
Breath Cycle is being built to make its essential breathing experience clear, calm, and accessible without requiring sound, haptics, color, or animation alone.
In the iPhone app
- VoiceOver labels accompany interactive controls and important visual state.
- Text labels are used alongside color and particle movement.
- System Reduce Motion and the app’s Reduce Motion setting are respected.
- Sound and haptics are optional and neither is required to complete a session.
- Visible pause, stop, skip, and recovery paths remain available without penalty.
- Touch targets are designed for comfortable use with limited attention.
On this website
This site uses semantic HTML, visible keyboard focus, sufficient text contrast, a skip link, reduced-motion support, and responsive layouts. It does not require JavaScript, cookies, or a pointer device to access its content.
Known limitations
Some highly visual particle effects and advanced typography controls may not translate completely to every accessibility configuration. The breathing phase remains available through text and optional sound or haptics. We continue to test compatibility with iOS accessibility features.
